All Souls
2003

Sunday, November 2 was All Souls Day, a day for remembering those we love who have died. We held a special communion service with an opportunity to light candles in memory of loved ones who have died and included prayers for all the faithful departed.  Click on any picture below to see a larger version of the photo.

After the service, everyone had a chance to write inside the walls of the new church building with names, scripture verses and other appropriate graffiti.

It is a reminder that the church is not made of cement and steel. A church is the living stones, the people who worship in that building and elsewhere.

The morning concluded with a highly successful cookout with hamburgers and hot dogs on the grill enjoyed in the current church building.
