Pentecost 2005

Pentecost, is the 50th day after Easter, and the day on which the Holy Spirit came to the disciples to empower them to continue Jesus' ministry. On Pentecost, the congregation is encouraged to wear red, a color long associated with the Holy Spirit. On May 15, 2005 Pentecost was the occasion for the baptisms of one-month old Gray McCullough and 68-year old Roger Laviner. After the worship service, we held a covered dish lunch to continue the celebration. Thanks to Griffin Logue and Kenn Hodge for these photos.  Click on any picture below to see a larger version of the same photo.
