July 14-18 is our Kids in the Kingdom Week for 2008. Each day we are gathering from 9 a.m. to 12 noon with kids from 4-11 to discover more about God's amazing, terrific, incredible, outstanding, life-giving, wonder-working power. We're learning songs, playing games, making crafts, sharing snacks, hearing Bible stories and more. Day Five ~ The Power to Tell Others Day Four ~ The Power to Live Forever We talked about Jesus' death and then showed the kids how bodies were prepared for burial in the time of Jesus to show them what the women expected to find in the tomb and then later took the kids back to the tomb to find the folded wrappings as Jesus had been resurrected never to die again.
Day Three ~ The Power to Be Brave Telling the story of Jesus walking on the water. Kids walking on a corn starch and water mix.
Day Two ~ The Power to Help Others
Day One ~ The Power to Be Thankful
